Big Game 14 - Twickenham Stadium, 2023

At the start of March a couple of our project managers were lucky enough to be pitch side at Twickenham Stadium during the half time break of the Woman's and Men's 1st XV games between Harlequins and Exeter Chiefs.

For the game we had been tasked with creating a rolling stage for the legendary Faithless to preform a DJ Set, accompanied by lasers and light shows in the countdown to the Men’s kick-off.

The stage required a couple of days build to fit together all of the staging and truss ready for the event. It was then rolled on and off with the help of skilled local crew.

For Harlequins, we built a custom ball plinth to be the star of the show at the run out onto the pitch. This plinth was equipped with LED lights, which could be controlled remotely and even in a space as vast as Twickenham, it still held its own!

It was a very successful event for both Harlequins and ourselves. Roll on The Big Summer Kick Off! (Roll, because we built rolling stages for the event).
